Rising over five floors the house had been divided into several flats, so after having seen some of our previous work, Mark brought Cochrane Design on board to de-convert the property back into a single residential dwelling. The brief was to create something both comfortable and luxurious but also with a little bit of an edge. A section of the lower ground floor ceiling was removed to create a dramatic open-plan ground floor and double height space to the rear. New structural steels were inserted at ground level to achieve this as well as further up the building to allow for a new vaulted ceiling opening up the master suite. Another exciting challenge for the build and design team was the incorporation of a jacuzzi spa complete with TV and Carrara marble finishes. Mark was happy to step away from the norm and as a result we were able to create a very personalised space which met all the family’s needs.
