Situated in one of London’s most esteemed and historic conservation areas, 24 Savile Row is a building that was designed to stand out from the rest. While the scheme was important, it was imperative the space functioned effectively. Understanding the needs of each employee meant the ergonomic and anthropometric aspects of the design were essential. The client wished to maintain an open-plan layout so new switchable glass partitions were constructed to provide privacy when necessary whilst also allowing light to permeate through the space. All joinery was expertly designed and crafted to the highest of standards and the juxtaposition of the traditional wall panelling and polished plaster finishes successfully complete this contemporary building with this historical neighbourhood.
